On Friday, American Darren Elias overcame a four-to-one chip disadvantage to defeat Christophe Rosso heads up and win the WPT Caribbean Main Event at the Sonesta Maho Beach Resort and Casino Royale in St. Maarten. Elias earned $127,680 and is the first player to ever win back-to-back WPT Main Events in the same season, winning the WPT Borgata Poker Open in September 2014.

Approximately 500 world class poker players from the United States, Canada, Europe, Caribbean, South America, and elsewhere on the globe descended on Casino Royale for the tournaments.
The poker kings and their fellow players were not the only attraction at Casino Royale for the WPT and CPT Tournaments. One of the Royal Flush Girls was Brittany Bell, who was recently crowned Miss Guam. This beauty will represent her island in Miss Universe pageant in January 2015.
